Make a Roald Dahl Hat and Mr Twit's Beard

Join us to celebrate Roald Dahl Day at Hornsey Library! Roald Dahl Day celebrates the birthday of Roald Dahl - one of the greatest storytellers of all time. Come along and design your very own Roald Dahl Day Hat or make Mr. Twit’s Beard! We are also going to talk about Roald Dahl and his stories, involving colouring sheets, word-search and bookmarks. Did you know that the idea of the Twits was inspired by Dahl’s desire to ‘do something against beards’, because he did not like them. Mr. Twit is known for having a big, hairy, horrible beard which he never washes and so it ends up filled with bits of old food! How dirty will your Mr. Twit’s beard look?
