Description:
IMPREINT is set to unveil VANITAS, an exhibition featuring two of the artist's latest collections, where he pushes the boundaries between art, history, and contemporary dialogue. “As an artist and a human being, I felt compelled to offer a new perspective – transforming vulgarity into dignity, tragedy into hope, and horror into beauty.” In Entartete Kunst, the artist revisits one of the most turbulent periods in art history: the Nazi regime's condemnation of so-called "degenerate art." By reimagining and reconceptualizing the visual language of that era through a modernist lens, IMPREINT transforms once-stigmatized imagery into universally accessible works. This collection not only pays homage to the resilience of artistic expression but also stands as a powerful statement on art's enduring role in shaping cultural memory. Gallery hours: Mon – Fri 1-7pm Sat 9-5pm Sun 12-4pm Artist talk: Fri, October 25, from 5–7pm
