Step into a world of indigo fabric, rhythmic stitching, and quite joy at our Sashiko Workshop - an immersive experience inspired by the timeless Japanese tradition of Sashiko.
Sashiko, meaning "little stabs" transforms simple running stitches into mesmerizing geometric patterns. As you trace classic motifs - waves, hempleaves, interlocking circles- you begin to see how repetition becomes art.
Sashiko is also more than embroidery, it's a moving meditation. the steady rhythm of stitching slows your breathing , soften your shoulders and the simple repetition quites the mind, leaving space for calm, clarity and creative flow.
No experience required, just curiosity. weather you are a seasoned maker or picking up a neddle for the first time, you will discover the quite thrill of watching patterns emerge beneath your hands.

Stephen's story is both challenging and inspirational. He was a normal young person who made the most of everyday opportunities. Young people today may not yet have heard the name Stephen Lawrence, but as a positive role model for a life well-lived, Stephen's story is as relevant today as it has ever been.
April marks the birthday of two famous writers, Charlotte Bronte and William Shakespeare.🎉🎉🎉21st April – Charlotte Brontë🎉Charlotte Bronte wrote the famous book 'Jane Eyre' in 1847. Her novels and poems are still popular nearly 200 years later.🎉23rd April – William Shakespeare🎉We don’t know William Shakespeare's exact birthday, it is most commonly thought to be 23rd April, 1564. This is because Shakespeare’s baptism was recorded on 26th April, at a time when people were commonly baptised three days after their birth.🎨Join us and have fun making bookmarks to celebrate the lives of these important writers.
