Description:
Create an Owl Mask – inspired by Pohela Boishakh Festival (in Bangladesh). Pohela Boishakh, also known as Bengali New Year or Nobo Borso, is one of the most important festivals for the Bengali community, and is celebrated with much pomp in West Bengal and Bangladesh. People wear new clothes, visit temples, eat deliciously prepared food and spend time with their loved ones on this day. Bengalis greet each other on this day by saying Shubho Nabo Barsho, which translates to 'Happy New Year'.
Requirements:
Instruction given but younger children will need parent/carer's assistance. Children under 9 should be accompanied by a parent/carer.
