Description:
A dholak is a very popular drum, played in the folk music of northern India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. It is a barrel shaped or cylindrical drum, with skins on both sides - one side with a high pitch and the other with a lower pitch.

Requirements:
Instruction given but younger children will need a parent/carer's assistance. Children under 9 should be accompanied by a parent/carer.
