Giraffes are found in the dry savannahs of Africa, where they roam among the open plains and woodlands.
Well known for their long necks, these gentle giants are the world’s tallest living land animals. An adult male can grow to around 5.5m – that’s taller than three adult humans!
Come along and make your very own Giraffe Family Craft as part of our Black History Month celebrations.
Please join us at Hornsey Library for this Black History Month screening of 'Sinners' (2025).
'Set in 1932, 'Sinners' follows twin brothers Smoke and Stack Moore, portrayed by Michael B. Jordan, who return to their hometown in the Mississippi Delta after serving in World War I. They aim to start anew by opening a juke joint for the local Black Community, using money they stole from gangsters. However, their plans are thwarted by a supernatural evil that awaits their return. The film explores themes of family, identity, and the cultural significance of blues music, as the brothers navigate the challenges posed by both humans and supernatural threats.'

Come along and make a beautiful poppy and display it on our Remembrance Day Board.
