<h1>Printing</h1>
<p>Printing is available at all of our libraries, as well as scanning documents and photocopying. You will need a library card which you need&nbsp;to activate&nbsp;first on the printing devices.</p>
<p>If you have supplied an email at registration, you can also use our new<strong>&nbsp;email to print facility&nbsp;</strong>without the need of using one of the public computers and securely collect your prints at any branch.</p>
<p>To use the email to print, simply attach your file and send it from your&nbsp;<strong>registered email&nbsp;</strong>to:</p>

<h1>How to Book a Computer&nbsp;</h1>
<p>Choose your preferred library and time slot via our&nbsp;new booking system MyPC. Alternatively, you can also walk in&nbsp;without a booking.</p>
<p>We have created a short instructional video tutorial&nbsp;on&nbsp;using MyPC that all users are encouraged to watch:</p>

<p>We ask all Internet users to agree to our acceptable usage policy, as outlined below.</p>
<p>You are allowed to use our&nbsp;computers provided that your use is of an acceptable nature.</p>

<li style="list-style-type: square;">Using the Internet for any illegal activity, or for the purpose of libel, slander or harassment</li>
<li style="list-style-type: square;">Sending, receiving or displaying text or graphics which may be reasonably construed to be obscene or offensive</li>
<li style="list-style-type: square;">Sending material that is intended or likely to cause annoyance or inconvenience to the recipient</li>
</ul>
<p>The term&nbsp;<strong>Computer</strong>&nbsp;is defined as the whole workstation (CPU, keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, headphones, CDs, disk drives, CD drives, etc).</p>
<p>The term&nbsp;<strong>Activity</strong>&nbsp;is defined at the discretion of the Systems Manager of Haringey Libraries, Archives and Museum Service.</p>
<p>If you break the terms in this Acceptable Usage Policy or use this computer for '<strong>non-acceptable usage</strong>' then you may be removed from the network without prior warning.</p>

<h3><strong>How to browse the library catalogue&nbsp;</strong></h3>
<p>You can browse and reserve library items from the entire Haringey Libraries catalogue and then collect them from your local library. You can filter by genres, categories and authors.</p>

<p>Alexandra Park Library is set to reopen on Monday 27 February following a period of closure for major refurbishment.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Library users will benefit from an improved and more accessible local library with a new lift, accessible toilets, new lighting, IT upgrades and redecoration of all interior spaces, including a revamped children&rsquo;s library.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>A new electric piano has also been installed as part of Haringey Council&rsquo;s partnership with Casio to <a href="https://www.haringey.gov.uk/libraries-sport-and-leisure/libraries/library-pianos" target="_blank" rel="noopener">introduce electric pianos in all the borough&rsquo;s libraries</a>.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>This is all part of Haringey Council&rsquo;s major investment programme which has been investing over &pound;4.9 million in libraries across the borough over a four-year period.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Cllr Zena Brabazon, Cabinet Member for Children, Schools and Families, said:</p>
<p>&ldquo;I&rsquo;m absolutely delighted that Alexandra Park Library is reopening, and that we have been able to make significant enhancements for local residents.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&ldquo;I&rsquo;m particularly pleased that we&rsquo;ve been able to make the library more accessible than ever, with a new lift and accessible toilets on both floors, as well as improving facilities for families with a beautiful new children&rsquo;s library.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Our libraries are such vital spaces for our residents, and we&rsquo;re proud in Haringey to be working together with residents and investing significant funds to make big improvements to libraries in every corner of our borough.&rdquo;</p>

Alexandra Park Library Re-opening Next Week!

<p>The final step to merging services with The Libraries Consortium (TLC) is complete! From the 6th of March, you will be able to borrow books and other materials from all other members of TLC&ndash; all with your Haringey Libraries card.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>You can request an item from any TLC library and have it delivered to any other library in TLC for collection.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>

The Libraries Consortium: The final step is complete!

<p>Haringey Libraries recently joined The Libraries Consortium, a consortium of 23 local authorities and 351 libraries. We're implementing a new library management system and this new online public access catalogue, which is so much more than an online catalogue. Besides this, you will soon also get access to all books and eContent in The Library Consortium. We are also busy creating a community hub of information, all in one place, here in Discovery, your digital library. It's our 360 Degree Hub. We therefore ask you to be patient while we add content and Discovery evolves into placing you at the centre of our 360 degree information hub over the next few months.</p>
