- Sponsor: *Zainab Kwaw-Swanzy - 'A Quick Ting On The Black Girl Afro' chronicles the ways in which the styling of Black Women's hair has influenced popular culture and intersected with Black expression. It explores the ways in which Black women's natural hair is often politicised and judged. *Kandace Chimbri is an author, speaker and educator. She primarily writes Black history books for children and young readers. Her book, 'The Story of Afro Hair, 5,000 Years of History' is filled with profiles of inspirational key figures in the Afro hair beauty industry. *Ovi King – a hair care domain expert with a disruptive vision for the future of hair care using technology. He specialises in curly and afro textured hair care and is author of the recent best seller 'Hair Identification: Modern Insights for Afro and Curly Hair' which combines unknown discoveries and insights discovered though many years of international research.
