In the UK, Father's Day occurs on the 3rd Sunday of June every year. This year it will fall on 21 June. On this day people honour and pay tribute to their father or father figures in their lives. Families get together to share meals and stories to thank their fathers for the love and support they have shown them over the years. Celebrate Father's Day with us at Muswell Hill Library by making a trophy to show your father how much you appreciate them. Have fun colouring it in and sticking it together !
As part of the library’s celebration of Windrush Day, Storytime will be reading John Agard's Windrush Child this week - along with some other fun stories from our picture-book collection.
