July is Disability Pride Month. This celebrates diversity, encourages positive conversations around disability, and raises awareness of different kinds of disabilities. Historically, disabled people have faced discrimination and have had to fight for equal rights. Disabilty Pride Month allows us to focus on celebrating the achievements of people from the disabled community, and raises awareness of the inequaliities that still exist and the progress that still needs to be made. Celebrate Disability Pride Month with us at Muswell Hill Library. Make your own colourful umbrella that helps you to learn some of the different types of disabilities that exist. Have fun with it!

Looking to learn some new stitches, or just want to chat while working on your latest project? Bring your own work and materials to Stroud Green and Harringay Library to knit, crochet, and meet new friends. Embroidery and cross stitch are also welcome.
Come and colour your way to calm. Join us for mandala style coulouring and free hot drink and biscuits. This one hour session will give you a chance for some relaxing me time.
